Tony entered the building industry in 1990. He worked as a framer and later became a superintendent for a well respected builder. It was this builder that instilled in him that quality comes before anything else, and to do what needs to be done to make the job right. In 1994 Tony founded T. R. Construction, Inc. on a foundation that “QUALITY is STANDARD”. The company began as a framing subcontractor working for several local builders. We also completed many decks and small renovations. Through hard work, precision for quality and dedication; Tony expanded the company into the custom home building industry. His hands-on experience in framing and precision for quality are what separates our company from our competitors.

We continue to house our own framing and specialty crews along with other employees to better serve all of our customers. Customer satisfaction, attention to quality and team work provide a strong foundation for a successful business. A home is not built by the builder alone; it is the positive relationship between, the homeowner, builder, subcontractors and vendors that make the job complete. Our goal of quality, not quantity is what allows Tony to be personally involved in every job from concept to completion.

Our personal approach to home building and remodeling focuses on consistent communication and team work among everyone involved. With this approach you will find that the “under construction” process will be less stressful. From concept to completion, our team will be in continuous contact with you. We will have scheduled meetings on site to discuss the progress and answer any questions you may have. We encourage your input during construction because open communication is a critical aspect to a successful partnership and keeping the stress to a minimum. We have long standing relationships with our vendors and subcontractors, so together, we are committed to providing the quality that you expect and deserve.

Tony is a member of the Peninsula Home Builder's Association (PHBA) and Peninsula Remodeler's Council (PRC). He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the PRC.
