What was once a rarely used terrace became a room that the homeowners can now use year round. The extreme heat and humidity that the Virginia Peninsula is known for is what caused these homeowners to want to add on to their already spacious home. Their beautiful terrace was not functional because of the heat but now, these homeowners are able to enjoy seeing the waterfront view, their pool and the Virginia sunsets from the comfort of their new sunroom. The floor of this new space is actually the same floor that the terrace had- we were able to build the new sunroom right on top of it. The T.R. Construction team was able to seamlessly tie in the new brick with the existing home and create the homeowner the additional living space they desired, while still giving the feeling of being outdoors!

We were able to give these homeowners not only a beautiful 2-story addition, but also completely remodeled garage too. As you can tell from the pictures, their kitchen was so cramped that you almost had to turn sideways to get by the refrigerator just to go out the back door! Not any more! They love the results. They enjoy not only their new spacious kitchen/family room, but also all the fantastic updates we were able to do for their entire home. Just imagine this...they didn't even have a master bedroom prior to their addition!!!

The owners of this waterfront home needed to add a 2 car garage to house their cars as well as their children's toys. As you can see from the pictures in this gallery, they got their dream. Their new garage looks as though it had always been there. And not just from the front view- the back view and interior view too!

This charming rancher home is now full of light and space, which was lacking prior to the addition. Off the back of the existing home, we added on a new family room which opens up to a new deck, and we also added a complete Mother-in-Law Suite. While constructing the addition, we paid close attention to details, such as the open area above the fireplace. Now, the much needed light pours in throughout the entire home.

What a major difference!! Check out the before and after pictures of this project. We added on a porch to the front and an addition on the back. This home went from looking tired and dated to beautifully updated!
